Evaluation, medication management & therapy.
Comprehensive psychiatric care across the lifespan — adolescents, adults, geriatric. All visits include thorough assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing collaboration.
Spravato & TMS therapy.
Specialized care for treatment-resistant depression and other conditions where standard medications haven’t been enough. Spravato REMS-certified, TMS clinically trained.
Insurance and payment
We are in-network with Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield (including out-of-state BCBS BlueCard PPO), Blue Shield of California, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medi-Cal, and Medicare. We bill your insurance directly. You are responsible for your plan copay, coinsurance, or remaining deductible.
Being in-network does not automatically mean a treatment is covered
For regular psychiatric visits such as evaluation, medication management, and therapy, coverage is usually straightforward once we are in-network with your plan.
TMS and Spravato are different. Insurers treat them as specialized treatments and apply their own medical-necessity criteria. Approval usually depends on your diagnosis, most often treatment-resistant major depressive disorder, a documented history of antidepressant trials that did not work well enough, and prior authorization from your plan before treatment starts. These criteria vary between insurers and they change.
That is why we do not publish a single price for insured TMS or Spravato. What you pay depends on your plan cost-share and whether your plan approves the treatment.
What we do before you start
We verify your benefits with your plan, document your treatment history and submit any prior authorization your plan requires, and give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket cost before your first session. You will know what to expect before treatment begins.
Payment due at time of service
All fees are billed at the time of your appointment. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, HSA, and FSA. A card is kept on file for cancellations and ongoing services.
If we are not in-network with your plan
We can provide an itemized superbill you can submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and rates vary by plan. Self-pay rates are listed above.
Cancellation policy
We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations and no-shows are billed at the full session rate. We understand life happens — communicate with us early.
Spravato® coverage
Spravato (esketamine) is FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression and is often covered by insurance. Coverage is verified separately for each patient before the first dose. Speak with our team about your specific plan.
