Yes, for most Kaiser members, but there is a catch. Kaiser generally covers Spravato for treatment-resistant depression when a Kaiser psychiatrist finds it medically necessary. The catch is where you receive it.
Kaiser both insures you and provides your care. It delivers Spravato inside its own medical centers instead of paying for it at an outside practice.
So if you are a Kaiser member, the path runs through Kaiser: your Kaiser psychiatrist evaluates you, and if approved, you are treated at a Kaiser facility that runs a Spravato program.
Bring a written list to that appointment: every medication, the highest dose you reached, how long you stayed on it, and why it stopped. That single page moves these conversations further than anything else.
Some people do not want to wait, or would prefer an independent clinic. That care is almost always self-pay, because Kaiser rarely authorizes outside treatment when it offers the service internally.
